UgenTec’s FastFinder has won the “Healthcare idea award 2014” for the most innovative product in healthcare. The software, developed by UgenTec, allows for a sharp decrease in time to result & diagnostic certainty. “Our generic algorithm can handle different PCR-data from various cyclers, but can be trained to perform even better,” says co-founder Tom Martens.
The award was handed out during Zorgidee, where Belgian healthcare entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals & academics exchange innovative ideas. There were over 24 innovative products showcased at Zorgidee 2014.
